Tony ‘Conqueror’ Conquest was born in July 7 1984 in Camden, London, and he is a professional fighter having worked his way up from the amateur ranks. Tony Conquest has won various titles over recent years including British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) Southern (England) Area cruiserweight title, World Boxing Organization (WBO) International cruiserweight title, and Commonwealth cruiserweight title. His professional fighting weight has varied from 194lb (88 kg; 13 st 11.9 lb) as a Cruiserweight to 216 lb (98 kg; 15 st 5.9 lb) as a Heavyweight. Tony is one on two children having an older brother who also had an early interest in boxing but failed to come through the ranks as his younger sibling. Tony Conquest really does deserve to succeed, his training regime is tough but then so is his full time job as a gas fitter. Not the type that does cushy household stuff I mean the guy outside digging up the roads in all weathers. After a hard day its off to the gym for either circuit training or several sparing sessions then its off for a six mile run. Tony was inspired by his by various people and says that his first memories was watching the likes of Benn and Bruno on ITV from the sofa when he was still at school. He was also inspired by his uncle, John Conquest who boxed amateur for St Pancras and later for Hornchurch. Tony was always fat as a child and very unfit, he was invited to the Repton Club by a fellow pupil from his school and was signed to the Dagenham ABC just before his 16th birthday and the rest is history.
